heheh. and like finally I am posting about last friday's 4th April Awards and Promotion 08' ceremony held at SMU.
Seriously I wasn't as excited as the previous year, it seems just like another RCY event.
I only got tensed up when it was my turn to go up the stage and it lasted for only a darn short 3 minutes or so I guess.
For once after 3 years I am participating as a real award recepient instead of doubling up as event helper. I have learnt to be smart a bit now.
The event was pretty messed up a bit here and there but I suppose it is no one's fault, just experiences gained previously not put into good use that's all.
All I could remember was the whole night of saluting non-stop and the emcee saying a 'thousand my apologies' and a few giggles at the below.
The few VIs including myself at the audience sit continued to clap as hard as we could giving all the support we could give, although I was seriously falling asleep during the awards segment- the award segment is always boring, I have been attending 3 years of A&P now, it is always dry and oh wells perhaps this is the way it should be.

met Mary and Baoyu and travelled down to SMU.
pardon my really thick and dark eye rings as I slept really late on the thrusday night and woke up super early for FYP that morning.

and thus, starting to get a lil' cranky and eccentric up there!
oh gosh, I look completely awful here. FF= FAIR AND FAT! how gorgeous.
 back to owner now! and finally we can enter the hall.
 check out my neat neat hair.
my hair is only neat at once every blue moon.
and the 'high ranks' people up there is still 'supervising' my hairstyle. (like since the day I join the Volunteer Instructor Programme 3 years back)
But I would like to reinforce this, my hair has seriously improve a damn big inch since the first day.
 messy again.
look at the useless pin next to my head gear, it was suppose to pin up my hair, but good gorgeous it is of no use.
 my another side of the face looks nicer rights?
 after the school awards segment we had buffet dinner.
buffet dinner was wholesome and definitely great except the fact that we have to stand and eat!
After dinner it was the Non-comissioner Officer promotion!
When we got promoted!
Many of my batchmates did not turn up! but oh wells, some pictures here...
till some kind souls sent me the pictures.

last year was Andy sir presenting me the award and this year is Andrew Sir!
kinda weird. we always call him Mr Andrew Ong.

SERIOUSLY I AM TOUCHED! (I am so worried that nobody would bother about me)
but thank GOD! SO MANY CHEERED FOR ME!
and yea, nicky sir (the promotion segment emcee) asked the audience whether they cheer for me because my skirt is short! hahas. faints. LAUGHS LAUGHS LAUGHS.

it was YS sir who helped me change both my rank, PB sir was late that night. both EVG senior.
 heheh. and that's all I guess.
and oh yea, before I forgot to mention, my school starts. I am in class W55P for 4 days!

LOL....CONGRATS! PCO HORH! lol... my god... principal cadet officer!, QX sir coloured rank right???? lol... aiya, i got ULP to worry lorh, if not can go to tis yr NDP liao... i took 4 weeks to decide wherther to go NDP or ULP lei.. lol!
QX sir next year then promote. all the best for ULP then! it is a good decision made still... | |
